My story starts in Yuma, Arizona on September 26, 1984 where I was born. Both my parents were in the Marines, so we moved around. In 1990, we were lucky enough to end up in Hawaii where we lived for three years. Our house was a block from the beach; I could hear the sound of the water every night. In 1993, my family moved to Fredericksburg, VA where we have been ever since. My family consists of my mom, dad, brother, a nephew and my beautiful wife.
In my short life I have accomplished many goals that I have set for myself. In 2009 and 2010 I competed in several events including marathons, half marathons, and triathlons. My crowning achievement was on November 21, 2010 where I completed the Ironman. For those that may not know, the Ironman is made up of a 2.4 mile swimming race, a 112 mile cycle race, and a 26.2 running race all in one day. It took me 15 hours for me to finish and now I am proud to say, I am an Ironman.
My life changed with a series of events. My wife and I became homeowners in 2013 it was our first home. In July of 2014, I married the most incredible woman I have ever met. In August, I started at the University of Mary Washington. In September, I started at GEICO in the claims department. Today, I work towards finishing my degree and I am on track to graduate in May of 2016.
My Hobbies and interests include running, camping, and golf. My favorite team is the Green Bay Packers I am also part owner of the team, with my one share. My favorite food is pepperoni pizza. I once entered into an eating contest to see who could eat a 30-inch pizza and I crushed everyone. My favorite color is blue I wear it a lot. The best place I have traveled to was St. Lucia for my honeymoon. The people were amazing and the food was great. It was paradise all day every day.
